The Taiko Ensemble presents the most powerful, physical musical performance that you can actually feel.  It is a thrilling combination of movement and physical drumming on thunderous taiko drums. 

Members learn traditional taiko drumming as well as new compositions that push the boundaries on several types of Japanese instruments.  Global Drums toured Japan in 2009.  The group enjoys close ties with the Lethbridge Twinning Society and our twinning partner of Towada City in the Aomori Prefecture.
